C1_HOR-1: Demonstrating the implementation of the WEFE strategy at national level
This activity is to assist in the advancement of policy and institutional settings for the WEFE Nexus at country level, contributing to the implementation of the draft regional Strategy on WEFE Nexus in the Mediterranean Source to Sea Continuum by assessing the state of WEFE Nexus integration in Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco and fostering cross-country learning on applied and anticipated solutions for advancing this integration.
C1_HOR-2: Climate Change adaptation in the Mediterranean coastal area: catalysing financing/the role of the private sector
This activity is to assist in advancing regional cooperation and institutional coordination on climate change adaptation financing in the Mediterranean, with emphasis on mobilising private sector investments for climate adaptation in coastal areas.
C1_HOR-3: Support for WES-BCA PCs in preparing their 7th National Biodiversity Reports under the Convention on Biological Diversity (UNCBD)
This activity is to provide targeted regional support to PCs in aligning with the CBD, the Kunming-Montreal GBF, and Mediterranean biodiversity commitments, ensuring they effectively prepare and submit their 7NRs by February 2026.
