Gender equality and empowerment of women and youth
The WES-BCA project will follow international agreed development goals and intergovernmental commitments towards gender equality, including those of the UfM, aims to apply a gender responsive approach throughout its implementation that identifies gender differences, promotes shared power, control of resources, decision-making, and empowers women and youth.
Disaggregated gender and age data will be monitored throughout the project’s duration.
The Gender Action Plan developed under the WES project will be used and updated for the WES-BCA project.
The WES Project Gender and Youth-Friendly Code of Conduct, will be applied again by all WES-BCA experts, team members and participants so that everyone will feel included and respected.
